Welcome to Hookaria. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of hookaria.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Using the Site

You may browse the Site and use its patterns for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site — for example, by trying to break into it, disrupting it, sending spam through its forms, or scraping its content in bulk.

2. Our content and your use of patterns

All patterns, written instructions, photos, illustrations and other content on the Site are owned by Hookaria and protected by copyright.

You may

Use the patterns for free to make items for yourself, as gifts or for charity.
Sell finished items you make from our patterns in small quantities (for example, at craft fairs or in a handmade shop). Crediting Hookaria as the pattern source is appreciated.
Share a link to any pattern page, along with one photo and a short description that credits Hookaria.

You may not

Copy, republish, translate or redistribute the written patterns, in full or in part, on other websites, social media or in print.
Sell, or give away as your own, the patterns themselves or our photos.
Use our photos to advertise your own products.
Mass-produce items from our patterns for commercial sale without our written permission.

3. Things you send us

When you send us a message or subscribe to the newsletter, you confirm that the information is accurate and yours to share. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Patterns are provided "as is"

We write and test our patterns with care, but mistakes can happen, and results depend on your yarn, hook, tension and skill. The Site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that any pattern is error-free or that your finished item will match the photos.

Safety: for items made for babies and young children, avoid small parts that could come loose, choose child-safe materials, and always supervise use. You are responsible for the safety of items you make.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hookaria is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of materials, time or money, arising from your use of the Site or its patterns. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as yarn shops or tools. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

7. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, add or remove content on the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the Site after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
